Submit Abstracts

CLOSED FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS

Thank you to all of you who have made a submission. 

Details of the process, requirements, timings and what is on offer for successful applicants, can be found below. See under Poster heading for the address of where to send printed posters in advance of the Summit.

Seminars

  • Up to five seminars will run in parallel to eachother and delegates will self-select which seminar they wish to attend. 
  • Length of presentation: Approx. 20 minutes with 10 minutes for questions.
  • Format required: Standard powerpoint slide presentation in landscape (videos can be incorporated into presentation). 
  • Complimentary tickets: A limit of one complimentary one-day ticket for the day of the presentation.  
E-Stream Seminars
  • The e-stream seminar will run in parallel to other standard format seminars, with delegates self-selecting which they attend. In each e-stream seminar there will be up to five short video presentations that play back to back, followed by an in-person Q&A (approx. 10 minutes) with a panel made up of one representative from each video.
  • Length of presentation: Short video presentation of approx. 4 minutes.
  • Format required: Pre-recorded video presentation in MP4 format. This can easily be produced using the record option in PowerPoint if you do not have other resources available. Please use lanscape format. 
  • Complimentary tickets: A limit of one complimentary one-day ticket, for the day of the presentation. Note: There is no limit to the number of people that can be involved in the video.

Posters 

  • Posters will be displayed at the Summit for delelgates to view. This is not a poster presentation.
  • NOTE: For those accepted for a poster - you are required to confirm by email (to: summit@healthandjusticeuk.org) that you intend to display a poster. If you have not confirmed - space will not be allocated for you. 
  • Format required: A3 portrait poster provided in both PDF and printed laminated format.
  • No complimentary ticket:  Attendance is not required, and therefore no complimentary ticket is available. If you do purchase a ticket to attend - please note that a poster prize giving will take place directly after the plenary programme on day one - Thursday 8th October 2026 at around 5.20pm for 40 minutes.
  • Email PDF: Submit final poster PDF to summit@healthandjusticeuk.org by Thursday 10th September 2026.
  • Delivery of hard copy: For those that have confirmed participation by email only. Send poster in advance of the Summit or bring in person on the first day (ticket will need to be purchased if attending).
    • If sending in advance, please address to: Unit 303, 233 Willesden Lane, London, NW2 5RP and ensure that your poster is sent to arrive by 1st October.

 

DEADLINES

  • Abstract submissions by: Sunday 17th May 2026 (No extensions available).
  • Results communicated: Week commencing Monday 8th June 2026.
  • Submit final presentation (slides, video) by:  Monday 7th September 2026. 
  • Submit final poster PDF by:  Thursday 10th September 2026. 
  • Send hard copy of poster to arrive by: to arrive by 1st October.
  • If the final presentation/video/poster is not received by this date, we can not guarantee participation. 

Quality Assurance

  • Once the abstract submission deadline has passed, all submissions will be reviewed by the Health and Justice UK review committee, against quality assurance criteria.
